The song is also referred to Mr. Capalot, or Polo Capalot the ace rapper from Chicago Illinois, started gaining attention after he began releasing songs on YouTube. The first tracks he released were including the Come Up and Never Cared and then made the debut SoundCloud with the mixtape OFFICIAL POLO.G SOUND CLOUD. Gang With Me, his debut single, quickly followed by his hit single Better things. He composed the second song while in prison. It was his debut single and he received thousands of YouTube views.
